GETTING TO RED ROCK RANCH

Red Rock Ranch is located in the Bridger-Teton Wilderness about 26 miles from Jackson, Wyoming. It will take you about 1.25 hours to get to RRR from the town of Jackson. Drive slow, turn on some tunes and enjoy the scenery! The last 6.4 miles to the ranch are on a National Forest Service dirt road, so we recommend rental cars with all wheel drive. The last cell phone service you will get is in the town of Kelly. * MOST GPS DO NOT recognize the ranch's remote location. Print out directions so you have them when you lose cell service * FROM THE TOWN OF JACKSON: Follow Route 26 north to the Gros Ventre Junction / Roundabout (6 miles). TURN RIGHT follow this for 6 miles through the town of Kelly and drive 1.4 miles to Gros Ventre Road. TURN RIGHT on Gros Ventre Road. Follow this road past Slide Lake, then it will turn into a well maintained forest service dirt road for the next 6.4 miles. Drive past Red Hills Ranch and keep going. After crossing Crystal Creek, 1/3 of a mile ahead you will come to the Red Rock Ranch sign. Turn right and follow the road which dead ends at Red Rock Ranch. FROM THE JH AIRPORT: Take a right onto Route 26 and drive approximately 2 miles south to the Gros Ventre Junction/Roundabout, TURN LEFT and follow road to the town of Kelly. From Kelly, follow the instructions listed above. FROM MORAN / YELLOWSTONE: Follow Route 26 south to the Gros Ventre Junction/Roundabout, TURN LEFT and follow road to the town of Kelly. From Kelly, follow the instructions listed above. DISTANCES: 11.9 miles from the turn onto Gros Ventre River Road to the turn to Red Rock Ranch. ~45 minutes. 6.4 miles from Slide Lake (where pavement ends) to the turn to Red Rock Ranch. ~30 minutes.

Camp at Red Rock Ranch

We welcome and highly recommend that everyone camps on site at our venue, Red Rock Ranch. RVs, vans, trucks, tents, etc. are all welcome on Friday and Saturday night. Campers will have access to bathrooms, showers, fire pits, bbq's, pool, ping pong, hiking and fishing. The are no RV hookups, so please plan accordingly. We ask campers to be self sufficient with enough food and water for the weekend outside of planned events - see the FAQ page for more recommendations.

Anne Kent Cabins (Historic Cabin)

NOTE: As of 4/16/24, this is still available! A nearby option to rent your own rustic / historic cabin in Kelly, Wyoming with Teton views. The large cabin sleeps up to 10 people for $350/night. The small cabin sleeps up to 5 people with a separate bathroom and laundry space 15 feet away from the cabin for $325/night. The "New" Cabin sleeps up to 5 for $375/night. Red Rock Ranch is 1.25 hours from Jackson (approx 26 miles) and about 45 minutes from the airport. We recommend guests camp on the property. If you'd prefer to stay in Jackson, or are making a longer trip out of your stay, here are some recommendations: A few options in Jackson: Antler Inn, Mountain Modern Motel, The Anvil, Hotel Jackson. North of town and Red Rock Ranch: Turpin Meadow Ranch, Hatchet Resort, Colter Bay Resort, Jackson Lake Lodge (inside GTNP). If you're looking for a special and unique way to extend your vacation, or just a unique place to stay closer to the ranch than downtown Jackson, check out Moosehead Ranch, Lost Creek Ranch, or Teton Cabins.

Atherton Creek Campground

This campground is located on slide lake and at the end of the paved part of Gros Ventre Road. There are no reservations, and it's first come first served right on the lake.

Crystal Creek Campground

Only 2 miles away, this is the closest National Forest campground to the Red Rock Ranch. If you need a place to camp before or after the event this is a great option. There are no reservations, and it's first come first served. This campground has bathrooms.

Gros Ventre Campground

This is another good camping option that is approx. 45 minutes away from the Red Rock Ranch venue. This campground is located within Grand Teton National Park, right outside of Kelly, Wyoming. This campground requires reservations. It's very large and very popular. It's paved and flat with sites that can accommodate long trailers.
