In the modern world, it can be said that it is hard to meet people the organic way anymore. We feel truly lucky to have known one another for many years before dating, because we worked together. For the majority of our time at the studio we were purely friends and coworkers. The transition from friends to dating was not a smooth or fast one. It's no surprise that there is a bit of an age gap between us. When we went on our first date, there was definitely a connection; but along with that came a fear of whether or not the maturity level was there for a real relationship. We spent many months fighting against being together because we were unsure if it would work out. Finally, after 10 months of chasing, we decided to make it official and have been inseparable ever since. We feel that the years we spent as friends helped us build such a strong and solid foundation that has allowed us to decide on forever together. We can easily admit that after only a few months of officially dating, we knew we would end up married. It only took about four years to make that goal of ours reality, but we cannot wait to say our "I do's" in the presence of all of our loved ones.

Oliver knew he wanted to marry Brittany for a long time. but wanted to wait for the right moment. So, he waited until they had their own apartment, and when their lives were in a good place. One night, after Brittany had come home from a Bachelorette party, Oliver had given what was going to happen next a lot of thought. The most important thing to him was to make sure the moment was special for the two of them, and only them. He knew it would be hard to surprise Brittany because she is always keen to figuring out surprises before they happen. So, Oliver waited for Brittany to be doing her nightly routine of washing her face and getting ready for bed. He found her in the bathroom washing up and told her to close her eyes. She thought there was a bug somewhere, but then Oliver slid the ring he had on her finger and told her to keep her eyes closed. He continued to tell her all the things he loved about her, and how he was waiting for the perfect moment, but the perfect moment was any moment they could just be themselves together. Once Brittany opened her eyes, she fell to the floor sobbing, so excited to take this next step with her best friend.
