Zumbach's Gourmet Coffee

Britt's favorite ice coffee. Cash only, but they take IOU's / accept manual labor shining the paint jobs of the parade of vintage cars that shows up here every weekend.

Parks and Outdoor Recreation Areas in New Caanan

To the extent you are staying in the area and looking to get outdoors, New Canaan has quite a few great paved/unpaved walking trails all over the place. Worth a look or a walk!

While not a restaurant per se, if you have kids and are looking for a way to kill a bit of time (and potentially get some free ice cream), this grocery store (once featured in a Harvard Business School case study - yes, you read correctly) a real trip - it even has a petting zoo!
