Maid of Honor
My sister. She’s known me my entire life and has been there through thick and thin. (This was a no brainer!)
Best Man
Started out as the only two black males in our Nursing program and became the best of friends. He has truly been a guiding light and a voice of reasoning over the decades when I struggle with difficult life decisions. Always encouraging me to take a leap of faith. Truly a brothers brother. A-Phi!!
Bridesman
We started as colleagues and bonded over our love for nursing. Now we are close friends that help each other navigate this thing called life.
Groomsman
We met during middle school when he was introduced as my catechism coach and we have been like brothers ever since. His entire family has always made me feel like a member of the family before and after my mother’s passing, and for that I’m forever grateful.
Bridesmaid
She’s been there since the beginning of our love story. Her support and our life discussions at our favorite restaurant, Gloria’s, has helped to get us here!
Groomsman
My West Coast brother! He introduced me to a world and style outside of New Orleans, which gave me the courage to move to Philly. We would always meet up before hitting the streets for the night, philosophizing about life and future plans while sipping on a drink.
Groomsman
He was my Ace on line and has been a brother, a friend, and a true confidant since crossing the burning sands. We have lifted each other up through some difficult moments in life. I appreciate his legal counsel and his mixology skills. He makes a mean Old Fashioned.
