Britanya’s Version: Swavon has always been a cute, goofy, and comedic person, and in high school I believe that is what drew me to him. We would talk here and there but track season is what really brought us together. As months went by I realized I was the girl with a crush and I will say the rest is history. Over the high school years and even through college, Swavon stayed present in my life when he could. Since spring 2013 till now Swavon has never missed a birthday of mine even when we were miles apart and haven’t talked in months. As of October 2019 we were brought together again and I realized how his personality remained the same but he grew to be more of a man with a goal. Swavon has and still is supportive, loving, patient, dependable, determined, etc and I found that that is a man I could spend my life with when the time came. Swavon’s Version: Sometime during track season, after track practice, I was approached by Young Britanya. It took one smile from her to instantly grab hold of my heart. I wanted to know who she was and who she planned on becoming. I knew that whatever she wanted to do, I wanted to be part of that. We always kept in touch and we had a spark that never faded. No matter the distance that came when she moved schools or even when she went to college. I waited patiently for her and I was soon rewarded for it. Rewarded with taking our spark and turning it to an everlasting flame.

On March 26, 2023 I (Britanya) said yes.

Surrounded by our immediate family on this day we started our forever journey!
