Our honeymoon is more than just a vacation, it's a journey to Brittany's roots.
In the late 1970s, Brittany's dad's family immigrated to Northern Virginia from Vietnam as refugees after the Vietnam War. Her mom came from the Philippines in search of greater opportunity and a better life. Growing up, Vietnamese and Filipino traditions have always been a meaningful part of Brittany's life, from celebrating Lunar New Year (Tết) to cooking and sharing family recipes.
Philip has wholeheartedly embraced these traditions, and together we're excited to experience the places, cultures, and histories that have shaped Brittany's family. We hope to carry these traditions forward and one day share them with our own children.
