Guests can start arriving at 4:00pm. The ceremony starts at 4:30pm with a cocktail hour and reception to follow.
While we recommend cocktail attire, please come in what you feel comfortable in! We suggest that men wear a suit, or dress shirt and pants, and women wear a cocktail dress, skirt and top, or jumpsuit. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place indoors, with an optional outdoor area for cocktail hour.
If staying in the recommended hotels, the venue should be no more than 10 minutes away.
We love your kids, but this will be an adult only event.
Two unique traditions you'll see at the wedding that you may not be familiar with are the Pittsburgh Cookie Table and the Bridal Dance. The Pittsburgh Cookie Table: You don't have to wait for dessert to fill a box with a variety of cookies and treats made by friends and family to take with you! The Bridal Dance: When you hear the polka begin, grab your napkin and hop in line to join in the dance that symbolizes supporting the newlyweds in good fortune and community. Traditionally, you drop a small cash donation in the basket, do a spin with the bride, take a celebratory shot, join the circle, and wave your napkin as all guests work through the line. Once the circle is fully formed, don't let the groom break through!
