Bridesmaid
I met Jennifer in 1995, when my parents brought her home from the hospital. I guess you could say we’ve been sisters ever since. She got engaged 2 weeks before Drew and I did, and she was very sweet and didn’t accuse us of stealing her thunder. She also postponed her wedding- originally scheduled for October 2021- so that we could reschedule ours to this year and still have my dream October wedding. I am extremely grateful for her, and am so glad she will be by my side on this special day.

I (the bride) met Whitney in 2018 when Drew finally brought me home to meet his family. It’s been wonderful getting to know her (and becoming sisters) ever since. She’s been tremendously helpful while we were planning the wedding, organizing my bachelorette party and doing my make up for the engagement pictures. I’m looking forward to countless more family dinners and door county trips in the future! I (the groom) will eventually write something here about my sister.
Bridesmaid
I met Michelle in 2010 during my first week of college. We bonded immediately over having very large feet, and worrying about falling off equipment at the gym. We became best friends by sophomore year, when we learned to blow smoke rings in my dorm room together. (Hookah was cool in 2011, I promise.) I used to take naps in her bed, which for some reason she found flattering and not creepy. I used to plan my wedding on Etsy- despite being single- in her room while she “helped”. She’s been looking forward to this day since then. I guess you could say this is Michelle’s special day.

I met Crystal in my first week of college. I’m not sure how I got so lucky, as I met my best friends because we were randomly assigned to live on the same dorm floor. Out of 40,000 people, I got lucky enough to meet crystal! We became best friends freshman year while pulling all-nighters before final exams, and playing neopets instead of doing homework. For some reason she won’t let me give her horsey rides on my back, and it still haunts me. She’s a big old smarty pants and finished vet school two years ago, so she’s a doctor. She hates being bragged about because she’s perfect and humble so I’m writing this to brag but also make her mad. #sickburn Also she found electric forest and it’s the best time, good job crystal.
Bridesmaid
I also met Kate freshman year of college. She was roommates with crystal! (Cue “they were roommates” vine.) How lucky is that?! Kate is the best. We became best friends while dangling candy from a string out of a cute guys window from the 11th floor of our dorm to get his attention. The candy attracted bugs, and the plan didn’t work at all, but it did set the tone for our friendship! We’re always up to some scheme or shenanigan and it’s always dumb. We’re hilarious. She’ll always the the M-O-N-star of my heart. (The red one.)
Bridesmaid
Krysta went to high school with Crystal, Kate and Michelle, and I met her while she was visiting them at U of I freshman year. We bonded over cleaning up after our hot mess friend who puked UV blue all over, and became besties a few years later at crystals lake house. We got matching tattoos during our road trip to see Michelle in 2020 and it’s my favorite tattoo, similar to how Krysta is my fav. She’s hilarious and sassy and I am so happy that I met her. I really can’t stress enough how lucky my random dorm assignment was.
Officiant
So excited to have her as my sister in law! She’s smart and pragmatic and a boss so that’s why we picked her to officiant. I always look forward to our time together in freezing cold Lake Michigan in door county. She’s also a former swimmer, so the cold doesn’t bother her anyway.
Groomsman
Joel and I have been side by side since first grade. I have few memories in my life that don't include Joel and am honored to have him standing with me in October. Other than always being better than me in video games, Joel likes sports, cigars, and cabins.
Groomsman
Matthew (Chewy) and I have been close friends since elementary school back in the days when I would go to his house every Monday after school. We have gone on a yearly camping trip (we had to stop calling it a fishing trip years ago) with our dads for the last 20 years making memories for life. Chewy is an artist in the medium of beef jerky, enjoys anything outdoors -especially live music, and is the master of camping.
Groomsman
Jack is one of my favorite people and is in the running for world's best human. We met in high school and who knew we'd stay friends and one day Jack would even be my boss. If you have ever found yourself in a conversation with me about professional wrestling, that is the work of Jack. If he's not down an obscure youtube video rabbit hole, he's probably cruising around in his truck with no doors and the roof off with his hair blowin' in the wind.

Eric and I are the classic story of two guys locking eyes at a college party and staying friends from that moment on. When he has time he has been teaching me how to golf and he has gotten me down to a 98! He knows his way around a good whiskey. We spend way too much time talking about food and finding the next best bite. He has an amazing black cat named Leroy.
Groomsman
Have you heard the one about the guy that goes to college and after a semester it turns out his roommate is a little crazy? Well, it's not a joke. It is Kyle's real life but luckily it brought us together and he moved into my room. Kyle is the #1 planner of weekends and parties. He is incredibly talented with a guitar in his hands and loves making music. We used to work in a brewery together but have been on strike pending a disagreement over wages.
Groomsman
Nate and I met while umping a little league game long long ago. Turns out Nate was transferring to my high school sophomore year and the rest is history. Nate enjoys everything Wisconsin sports but it doesn't stop there, don't be shy on testing him on his college sports mascots. If you need help with your flooring needs in southern WI Nate knows a guy pull him aside and ask!
