If you're not in Houston often, we hope our wedding offers you the chance to explore it. Here are a few of our favorite spots to check out while you're in town! All of them are within a 20 minute drive from our venue (and, coincidentally, from our very first apartment together on Colquitt Ave!)
Black Hole Coffee House

When Karina and Daniel met, Daniel was living in the building right next to this coffee shop. Needless to say, we have spent a LOT of money here. We recommend the butter croissants (delivered from nearby bakery Sicilia) and oat milk lattes!
The Menil Collection (Museum)

We've took many a walk to this museum from our apartment in Montrose. Admission is free! Highly recommend the Cy Twombly exhibit nearby as well.
Riel (Restaurant)

This is where we went for our first date. If you're in the mood for something fancy, we highly recommend this spot! Daniel does NOT recommend the tuna crudo. Karina thinks it's fine.
Nara Express (Restaurant)

This place has the best Tom Kha Gai in the city. Bar none. If you're looking for a quick lunch before the ceremony, check out our favorite Thai spot in Houston!
