The building behind you is the apartment where Daniel was living when he and Karina first met. We call it the Graustark apartment.

This gorgeous mural is right outside the coffee shop we'd go to all the time when we first started dating, Black Hole. It's right next door to the Graustark apartment.

The anvil at the center of Daniel's engagement ring (custom designed by Karina) is a reference to a running joke / sincere reminder - if an anvil falls on my head today, remember I love you.
