If you have been invited to this special day, you may be asking yourself: “How did these two find each other?” Well, as most fairytale love stories begin, Leah and Tommy’s story started one fateful night at Dark Horse Tavern. As avid lovers of the art of karaoke, Leah and Tommy both jumped into line, with hopes of getting downstairs where the live band rocks all night long. Little did these two know that in line that night, they would find, as Rihanna would say, “Love in a Hopeless Place”. When our Tommy saw Leah weaving through the line in his direction, it’s as if he heard Thomas Rhett himself whisper into his ear: “Look What God Gave Her”. They struck up a conversation, where they discovered their shared passion for the Dawgs, mutual friends, and love for live music. By the end of the evening, these love birds both were thinking to themselves: “You Belong With Me”, as sung by Taylor Swift herself. Tommy gave Leah’s sister, Sarah, his business card that night with hopes Leah would contact him. As you may have guessed it, Leah did reach out to talk to Tommy shortly after that magical night. Tommy quickly fell head over heels for Leah as he got to know her unique spunk, quick humor, free spirited approach to life, and empathy for everyone around her. He knew Leah was one of a kind. With their future on his mind, Tommy embraced the wise words of the Jonas Brothers, asking himself “What A Man Gotta Do” to convince Leah he was the one for her. Little did he know, Leah was already falling in love with him through seeing his caring nature, ability to make her laugh at any time, his cooking skills, and fun, charismatic personality. However, if you ask Tommy, he knew Leah truly loved him when her pet chinchilla, Stanley, gave his stamp of approval when he stopped biting Tommy all together. After that, you could quote the iconic Shrek soundtrack in saying they were officially “Accidentally in Love”. They traveled, laughed, cheered on the Dawgs, and even, added a hyperactive, sweet Corgi puppy, Penny, into the mix to make a family of four. Oh, and please don’t think we would forget the romantic proposal! Tommy surprised Leah during a romantic get-a-way at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. He thought of Taylor Swift’s classic hit, “Love Story”, when dropping down to one knee, popping the question, and hoping Leah would “just say yes”. Spoiler alert: she did say yes. While their story is truly a musical, modern day fairytale between two people, it would not be complete without all of the people in their lives they hold dear to their hearts coming together to share in a night of love and fellowship. They look forward to writing this new chapter in their love story, starting June 10th, 2023, titled: Happily Ever Adams.
