FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that guests wear their finest Sunday attire. As our wedding falls on the Sunday following Easter, the same attire you selected for Easter Sunday would be perfectly appropriate.

Question

Will guests be able to tour the garden during the wedding?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive early to enjoy the gardens, which close at 5 p.m. Following this time, we kindly ask that everyone remain within the Brinkley-Hale wedding area at the Bloemendaal House for the duration of the ceremony and reception, in accordance with venue guidelines.

Question

How early may guests begin to arrive?

Answer

Guests may arrive as early as they desire to get the opportunity to tour the garden. But as previously stated in the last question, once it becomes 5 o'clock, guests must be within the Brinkley-Hale wedding area at the Bloemendaal House.

Question

Are guests able to stay at the gardens past 10 o'clock?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. The park will be closed for the night by that time. If guests remain at the venue past 10 o'clock, the bride and groom will have to pay a fine of $500.

Question

Where will guests be parking at?

Answer

Guest parking will be available in Lot A. A designated pull-through lane will be provided for drop-offs, and signage, along with on-site staff, will be present to assist with directions.
