The ceremony begins sharply at 4 pm. Please arrive by 3:45 pm to grab a drink and a seat.
If you are staying at Skamania Lodge, you can walk to/from your room from the reception and ceremony area! Skamania Lodge has plentiful elevators but the path to the ceremony area is grass and the path to the reception area is gravel. Please let Skamania Lodge know before the wedding if you need some mobility assistance with a golf cart.
Other hotels in Stevenson and Cascade Locks do not have transportation to them and keep in mind that there are no Ubers or Taxis in the area. However, Skamania Lodge has a free parking lot. The Bridge of the Gods over the Columbia River to Cascade Locks has a toll, but they do take cash and card.

The Jupiter Original is on a main busy street with cocktail bars and other activities. - www.jupiterhotel.com/the-original Hotel Eastland is in a quieter area with a nice rooftop. - www.hoteleastlund.com The Porter Portland is rather ritzy and across from the Willamette River. -www.theporterhotel.com These hotels are all pretty close to the Hawthorne Asylum. There are most likely good airbnb's in the Hawthorne neighborhood generally. Overall, Portland is a safe city. However, it is recommended to avoid staying in Chinatown.
Leslie, our golden retriever, will remain in Chicago for the festivities. She prefers all four paws on solid ground!
