When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is 12th April 2026. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as a 'no'. We need to provide our venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 1pm, so we kindly request you arrive at 12pm to ensure you don't miss your welcome drinks!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family & friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal or cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim, and avoid outfits predominately white and shades of white, and pale/baby pink. The ceremony will be held outside, weather permitting.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We want you to all be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer & videographer who will be capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

The best gift is having you share our special day with us. However, if you wish to give a gift, we will gratefully accept a small contribution for our honeymoon.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our venue has 66 bedrooms which are all available to book in advance! We’d absolutely love for you to stay with us at the hotel, so the celebrations don’t have to end when the music stops. Plus, it means we can all enjoy breakfast together the next morning. The perfect way to catch up, swap stories from the night before, and soak up every last bit of the weekend. Rooms are available to book in advance with an exclusive discount — we’d recommend securing yours early! Use the link on the 'Accomodation' Tab to book your room.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited spaces, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. For those of your that will be bringing children, please be sure to watch them closely.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

If you have a food allergy or any food/drink requirements, please email us on tanciwedding@outlook.com or text Morgan on 07502276052 and let us know as soon as possible so that we can accommodate.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue has plenty of free on-site parking for the whole day & overnight.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding day is set at The Royal Berkshire Hotel for the entire day! So no need to stress or worry about getting to different locations on the day!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be welcome drinks, wine, personalised cocktails & beer during the day and a bar you can purchase drinks from in the evening.

Is the wedding ceremony outside?

Answer

Yes, as the sun will be shining (hopefully), both the ceremony & reception will be outside. Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would appreciate if all photos and videos are not shared until the day after the wedding. We hope everyone will be present and too busy enjoying the day to post anything of us.

When can I check into my room at the Royal Berkshire Hotel?

Answer

You can check into your hotel room after 3pm. You will have time during the cocktail hour, or after the wedding breakfast (between 6pm-7pm) to check into your room and refresh before enjoying the rest of the evening!
