Palmetto Bluff is a residential community located in Bluffton, South Carolina. Palmetto Bluff is comprised of 20,000 acres and 32 miles of riverfront. Brigitte's family recently built their forever home in Palmetto Bluff, and it was the place James proposed to Brigitte after five years of dating!
We highly recommend everyone stay on property at the pre-booked and paid for rooms at Montage Palmetto Bluff. We are thrilled to share that both nights of the wedding weekend will be covered. Please book using the "hotel booking" tab on our website.

We would recommend that everyone arrive by Friday, October 2nd as the Welcome Party will take place at 6:00 PM on that day. We suggest landing by early afternoon to allow time for the drive and check-in at the hotel! Our Farewell Brunch is Sunday, October 4th where guests can stop by anytime from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM before leaving Palmetto Bluff.

Check-in is at 4:00pm and check-out is at 12:00pm at Montage Palmetto Bluff. Montage Palmetto Bluff offers early check-in and late check-out based upon request, but it cannot be guaranteed. Please contact Reservations prior to your arrival to inquire on availability at (855) 264-8705.
Savannah Airport (SAV) is our closest airport and definitely recommended (45 minutes). Charleston Airport (CHS) is the second closest airport (2 hours).

October is one of the most beautiful times of year in Palmetto Bluff! Expect warm, golden afternoons in the upper 70s, and cozy evenings in the 60s. The air is usually slightly humid with a light coastal breeze, and while most days are sunny or partly cloudy, a quick rain shower may occur most days. We are hoping for the absolute best!!
ARRIVAL: When arriving at Savannah Airport, we recommend taking an uber/lyft or arranging for another car service to the Montage Palmetto Bluff. There are also plenty of rental car services available at Savannah Airport (Avis, Enterprise, Hertz, etc.) if you’d prefer. That said, transportation within Palmetto Bluff's property is provided, so a rental car is not necessary. Please click the "travel" tab on our website, scroll to the bottom and click the link labeled "view" to view all ground transportation options at Savannah Airport. DEPARTURE: When returning to Savannah Airport, we suggest arranging a car service to the airport, speaking with the front desk about taxi's or other car services, or an reserving an uber/lyft ahead of time as rideshare services are sparse in the Palmetto Bluff area.
Yes, transportation to our events in Palmetto Bluff for the entire weekend will be provided. Many pools, restaurants, and activities are all within walking distance of the hotel so a rental car is not needed (but if you would like one to go outside of Palmetto Bluff than go for it!). Two complimentary bikes will also be provided with each room so that you can coast around the incredible property.
