Groom
Aakash is a real-life Grey's Anatomy star, working in the ER in Washington, DC. Before residency, he spent some time as a weekend mixologist. Aakash enjoys watching sports with Moose, eating Veronica's baked goods, and trying to stay one step ahead of Brigitte. He can't wait to see you on the dancefloor!
Karen Butler
Mother of the Bride
Karen is the Butler family momager. She is a recently retired figure skating coach and is enjoying more time with her dog, Puppy Yeti - an unverified polar bear. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, making lists for Skip, and visiting Brigitte & Veronica.
Skip Butler
Father of the Bride
Skip is the wrangler of the Butler ladies. His greatest achievement is having both his daughters work at Deloitte. When Skip is not working, he enjoys planning huge garden projects, boating with his family, and bingeing sci-fi. Skip can't wait to relive his college frat star days at the wedding!
Varsha Rana
Mother of the Groom
Varsha is the superstar mother of the groom. Her hobbies include gardening and cooking, and is constantly sending Aakash and Brigitte delicious care packages. She works as a respiratory therapist at Duke (we won't hold that against her!).
Devesh Mehta
Father of the Groom
Devesh is the father of the groom, but more importantly Moose's grandpa. His favorite pastimes include gardening, rooting for the New York Jets, and hosting stay away camp for Moose.
Veronica Butler
Maid of Honor
Veronica is sister of the bride and Deloitte co-worker. She and her cat, Daisy, are the best big sisfurs to Brigitte, Truffles, and Latte. Veronica’s favorite pastimes include taking photos of her dog Smokey, baking all things yummy, and drinking rosé wine.
Sanni Rana
Best Man
Sanni is Aakash’s cousin, but their relationship is more like brothers. Aakash is one day older, they grew up 5 minutes apart and did everything together: from playing games in the car as kids, to baseball in high school and going to UNC for 8 years. Sanni has been there for Aakash since day 2, and is glad to be standing by his side on his wedding day.
Shevani Mehta
Bridesmaid
Shevani is sister of the groom and future hot shot lawyer. Her current hobbies include traveling, law school studying, and visiting Aakash and Brigitte in DC! She enjoys exploring the outdoors around Charlottesville and beyond! She also shares Brigitte's love of matching pajamas.
Michael Traugot
Groomsman
Michael is Aakash’s friend from high school and undergrad at UNC. Michael and Aakash became friends via mutual friends and for their love of the New York Mets. However, now most of their conversation centers on Michael asking for health advice. Michael resides in Brooklyn, NY, and enjoys watching sports, traveling, and reading in his free time.
Sally Crouch

Sally and Brigitte have been friends since freshman year of high school! So yes, Sally has been through it all with Brigitte. She currently lives in New York and is climbing the corporate ladder in data analytics. Sally enjoys spending time with her two adorable pups, painting (she's crazy talented!), and traveling.
Justin Hagenburg

Justin and Aakash first met through high school baseball and have stayed close friends through college at UNC and beyond. Justin works for Red Ventures and lives in New York City. His hobbies include trying to compete with Jacob in pickleball, traveling, and hanging out with his wife and pup.
Margaret Preston
Bridesmaid
Margaret and Brigitte bonded over being the new kids in high school and have been friends ever since. Margaret currently lives in Durham and recently finished her graduate degree while working fulltime! Margaret is a fellow CPA and cat mom and enjoys traveling during her free time!
Jacob Pearl
Groomsman
Jacob is Aakash's college roommate and long-time friend since high school. Currently, he works as a community pharmacist in Charlotte, NC. His hobbies include pickleball, pickleball, and more pickleball. We advise against bringing your paddles to the wedding, otherwise Jacob might turn the dancefloor into a court!
Lauren Sugarman
Bridesmaid
Brigitte and Lauren met in college through a mutual friend - Aakash! Lauren has been an wonderful friend to both Brigitte and Aakash through college, medical school, and beyond. Lauren is currently completing her residency at UNC. When Lauren isn't working, she enjoys crushing the leaderboards at her workout classes!
Amit Rana

Amit is Aakash's uncle and groomsman. The two share a special bond that has grown stronger over the years. They've created countless memories as adults, ranging from trips to Iceland and Orlando to hours playing Xbox and discussing their golf game. Amit also takes every chance to mention the time he made a miraculous comeback to defeat Aakash in their Family Fantasy Football League.
Meredith Matsumoto

Meredith and Brigitte met in grad school and started at Deloitte together. They quickly bonded over their love of book club (aka snack club) and crafts! They were also bus buddies their first year at Deloitte (s/o for those life skills!). Meredith lives in Durham with her husband, twin boys, and pup!
Stephen Himmelberg
Groomsman
Stephen and Aakash met in medical school and instantly became great friends, especially after Aakash found out Stephen would always let him win in golf. Stephen is an orthopedic surgery resident at UNC. He can't wait for you to break a leg out on the dancefloor!
Truffles

Truffles is the couple's quarantine kitten and convinced Aakash he needed a dog. Her guilty pleasures are napping, breakfast, and making biscuits. She can't wait to pawty!
Moose

Moose is the couple's rescue doodle! Bonus points - He helped Aakash plan the proposal. Moose enjoys long walks, cookies, belly rubs, and tennis balls. He is always down for a good time!
Latte

Latte is the newest addition to the family. Latte is the typical baby of the family and loves attention. Some of Latte's favorite activities include purring, chasing Truffles, and stealing food. Latte is excited her pawrents are getting married!
