Note on lodging & air travel: We highly recommend booking your lodging as soon as possible. Our venue (The Tidewater Inn) is located near the Eastern Shore of MD, and summer is a very popular time for this area! While there are rentals (such as AirBnb or VRBO), these options are limited. We are offering two hotel blocks (the Inn itself and a nearby Holiday Inn Express), but these blocks do require a 2-night minimum. As of February 4th, the Holiday Inn Express was allowing bookings of one night only (Saturday evening), but it is unclear if this will continue to be the case. If you are having any challenges with finding lodging, please reach out to Sophie or Sam– we are happy to help! Lastly, if the recent incident at DCA airport is causing anyone concern, we completely understand and recommend booking your travel into BWI.

To book a room within our reserved block, please call the Tidewater Inn at 410-822-1300 and mention "Bright/Conchuratt Room Block." The Inn currently requires a two-night minimum, although this policy may change if rooms are still available as the date nears. Unlike the Holiday Inn Express, we are unable to add additional rooms to this block once the allotted rooms are reserved. However, you are welcome to still book at the Inn outside of the room block. Friday evening welcome drinks & Saturday's ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held at the Inn.

Group Code: BCW If you do not wish to stay at the Inn itself (or if you're looking to stay for only one night), there is an alternate block of rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn Express, which is a ~5 minute drive from the Inn. For guests choosing to stay at the Holiday Inn Express, there will be shuttle service offered to and from the Inn on Saturday. Departure times will be finalized closer to the event and be dependent upon final RSVP numbers. Click "View" below to view the two room options (King or Queen) from Friday 6/27-Sunday 6/29. You will see a note for "Bright-Conchuratt" under each room type. If you would like to stay only one night, this hotel is currently offering that option. However, be aware that they typically require two-night minimums in the summer, so this may change! Even though one-night stays will not officially be part of our room block, they are currently running approximately the same cost per night. If we run out of rooms in this room block, please reach out to let us know. We are able to add additional rooms, if needed.

Travel from Airport to the Tidewater Inn

Rideshare options (e.g. Uber or Lyft) will cost between $100-200 to travel from the airport to the Tidewater Inn each way. Therefore, guests traveling from out of town may prefer to reserve a rental car for their travel. Discount codes through Budget and Avis are offered below.
