You will go to the hatchery where they grow their baby oysters and then take a boat ride around Duxbury Bay where you can shuck until your heart’s content. After all of that, spend some time at the gorgeous Raw Bar on the water for more oysters, caviar dogs, tins, and drinks with a view!
For a true New England experience, join a whale watch tour! The tour is 4 hours long and heads to Cape Cod Bay and Stellwagen Bank, a marine sanctuary and one of the primary feeding grounds for humpback whales, finback whales, pilot whales, minke whales, and the endangered right whales. Enjoy a day paddling on the quiet waters of Billington Sea, which is confusingly actually a lake. Explore over five miles of shoreline with numerous coves and two public islands. You may even see turtles, osprey, great blue heron, and maybe even a bald eagles. They offer on-site kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals.
