Pier B Resort Hotel

$$$ This is a beautiful hotel if you are looking to stay on Lake Superior on the bay side. It is walking distance from the aquarium, Bayfront Park, Canal Park, and Park Point beach! This hotel has a pool, outdoor hot tub and sauna boats on the lake that are booked separately. This hotel is the most pet friendly that I have experienced in the area. Pier B is home to Silos Restaurant that has some pretty great reviews according to google. Fun Fact: this hotel was our second choice for our wedding venue. We decided against it because it would be silly of us to not take advantage of our little paradise on Fish Lake.

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Duluth North, MN

$$$ If you are Choice Hotel member, like myself, This is another great option to rack up those points! This Hotel is nestled in between a Costco and an Outback Steakhouse. I don't know if it can get any better than that! You will also be minutes away from Walmart, Sam's Club and Fleet Farm. (I hear there might be a Bass Pro Shop coming in soon through your back window. Let's hope it will be open in time of your arrival). The drive from this location to the venue is about 22 minutes. This hotel is family and pet friendly. They have a pool w/waterslide and a hot tub. They will also provide free breakfast during your stay!

Fairfield Inn & Suites Duluth

$$ If you are just looking for a place to crash for the night/weekend this is a great option. This hotel is located next to the Miller Hill Mall and Target. There is a pool inside and offers free breakfast! This hotel is roughly 20 minutes south of the venue, and about 10 minutes north of downtown Duluth. It's really a great location to be in being that you are in a convenient place to travel as you wish.

Groome Transportation

$$ Duluth is about a 2 and 1/2 hour drive north from Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport. Some guests may find it easier for them to fly right into Duluth, however I do want to share this option. Groome Transportation is a shuttle service that departs from the MSP Airport and drives to the Duluth area. I have used their service many times and they are very accommodating. They work with your airline and arrival/departure time and get you on the right shuttle to ensure you have plenty of time to board at your gate.
