Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved hotel room blocks for guests at Hotel Radisson in Duluth. Please see our Travel Page for more information on booking your stay. Unfortunately, we will not be accommodating our guests here at Hi-Banks. The space available has been reserved for the Bride and Grooms immediate family and close friends.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We are so lucky to have a full bar on site at the venue. However, alcoholic drinks will be regular price and must be purchased in the lodge. We will have non-alcoholic beverages available to all of our guests during the cocktail hour and dinner.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the lake near the shoreline. During this time of the year, it can be fairly windy so plan accordingly. In the event of severe weather, we will utilize our indoor reception space and make appropriate accommodations for the ceremony to be held indoors.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! We look forward to celebrating with you and your guest.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We welcome your little ones! We just ask that you keep a close eye on them and remove them from the ceremony if they are disruptive.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are not providing transportation to and from the events, but the ceremony and reception are in the same location and there is plenty of parking available.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan on arriving at 2:40 pm to give yourself time to get a drink and find a seat before the ceremony begins at 3:00pm.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After we say, “I do,” we welcome you to join us for cocktail hour where we will serve drinks and light hors d’oeuvres. We will take our seats for dinner at 5:00.

Answer
