When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm, so we ask that you please arrive at 5:00pm to ensure that we can start on time! Don't worry - our ceremony will be quick so we can get to partying! IMPORTANT NOTE: Rainier Festival is happening the same day as our wedding very close to our Venue. Please give yourself extra time to arrive, and we HIGHLY recommend using Uber or Lyft as parking could be a challenge!

Is there a dress code?

We can't wait to see everyone all dressed up! We are asking everyone to dress semi-formal - please, no jeans, shorts, or white attire.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
If your child or children's name are listed on your invitation and when you RSVP, we are excited to see them at our wedding! Otherwise, this is an adults-only event - we hope you can enjoy a night off with us!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
If you received a plus one, your guest's name will appear on your invitation and when you RSVP to our event. Otherwise, we are excited to keep our wedding as small and intimate as possible with close friends and family.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Washington Athletic Club - if you are interested in booking, please reach out to them at (206) 622-7900 and indicate that you are with the Carney-Scherer Wedding. Rooms are limited, so book early to reserve the best rates! If you do not want to book with WAC, we recommend staying in Downtown Seattle, as it is fairly close to our venue and transportation will be easy.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is limited parking available across the street from our venue, however, we strongly recommend using Uber or Lyft to arrive to our ceremony. Georgetown does get busy on Saturday nights and parking can be a challenge! If you are staying in Downtown Seattle, your trip should be quick and easy!

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Gifts are not required - your presence is a present enough! However, if you want to give a gift, we are registered on HoneyFund. In lieu of gifts, we would love if you could help us bring our dream Scotland Honeymoon to life!
