Reno-Tahoe International Airport
The nearest airport is Reno (RNO), approximately 45 minutes from Lake Tahoe by car. There are four options for guests: rent a car, call a cab, take a shuttle or get an uber/lyft. We recommend renting a car so you are able to explore Tahoe during the weekend.

Shuttles Throughout the Weekend
We will be providing transportation to and from the Welcome Party and Wedding, with pickup points at the Cedar House, Springhill Suites, and the Northstar Village Bus Stop. We highly recommend booking a rental car for the weekend so you can enjoy Tahoe! Given it will be such a busy wedding weekend, we cannot be sure that there will be reasonable ubers available.

We think condos / Airbnbs in Northstar village will be a fun and cost-effective option for guests, especially for those who want to stay in groups. The Northstar Lodge is a nice property and has studios and 2-3 bedroom condos available. Be sure to also look at Airbnb / VRBO for the Village for a wide variety of options, but please keep in mind the proximity to the central village location for our organized wedding pickup and drop-off.

Alternative Accommodation Options
Other local hotel options include The Hampton Inn in Truckee and the Ritz in Northstar. Airbnbs in Northstar community (beyond the village) and elsewhere in Truckee are also an option, but we will not be able to provide transportation beyond those above noted locations, so please plan on making your way to pick-up/drop off locations if you want transportation.
