We met at work in March of 2019, but it wouldn't be until the following year that our relationship evolved. As far as first impressions go, Bridget thought Karl was hard to read because he was always so focused at the office. Karl swears that his first impression of Bridget was that she was intelligent and outgoing. The early foundation of Bridget and Karl's relationship was built on one thing: Sports. In the fall of 2019, Bridget happily watched her Wisconsin Badgers beat Karl's Michigan Wolverines in football at Camp Randall and didn't hold back on celebrating this victory, much to Karl's chagrin. Fast forward from that fall and Bridget and Karl found themselves consistently hanging out with the same people outside of work. Our friendship continued to grow until one night at Jack's on Brady (so romantic), Bridget sat down at the bar to watch the Minnesota Wild losing a playoff game. Karl joined Bridget in watching the game. Soon we realized all our friends left us at the bar and we each had texts from friends saying they pointedly "did not want to interrupt." From that day on, we started hanging out just the two of us doing everything from hiking Holy Hill to getting brunch. We officially started dating on September 27th, 2020 and the rest is history. Since the start of our relationship, we've had the opportunity to go on many adventures including exploring 17 of the 63 National Parks with hopes of visiting every park someday. From Hawai'i to the Virgin Islands to Key West, we've enjoyed so many wonderful trips and can't wait to keep adventuring together in our next chapter as husband and wife! We also adopted our sweet cat Lilah in 2021 and she will be 5 by the time of our wedding. We are so lucky to have each of you attend our wedding to witness the next step in our relationship! We cannot wait to celebrate with you and look forward to what the future holds. Love, Bridget & Karl
