Oregon’s tallest waterfall (620 ft.) is just 30 minutes east of Portland! There's a historic lodge at the foot of the waterfall, offering a cafe, restaurant, gift shop, and interpretive center.
12 acres of tranquility, this space includes an authentic Japanese tea house, meandering streams, intimate walkways and an unsurpassed view of Mount Hood!
A great place for bar hopping! Some of our favorites include Radio Room (great cocktails!) Bye and Bye (southern inspired vegan food) and Tin Shed (great for breakfast!) You also don't want to miss out on a stop at Salt & Straw, one of Portland best (and most creative!) ice cream shops!
SE Hawthorne, Belmont, and Division are packed with great restaurants, bars, and shopping. If you feel like catching a movie, see what's playing at the Bagdad theatre! Quarterworld is fun arcade, allowing all ages from 1-7p on weekend. Avalon is another arcade option that tailors to all ages. For great cocktails, Sapphire Hotel, Woodsmen Tavern, and Gold Dust Meridian lead the pack. If everyone in the family has different food tastes, check out the Hawthorn Asylum food cart pod!
A big favorite of ours, and a place we don't miss out on going a few times a year! Seaside and Cannon Beach are only 90 minutes from Portland and offer great shopping, food, and of course, long stretches of beautiful beach! If you're down for a longer drive, Newport is our favorite town to visit. Check out the historic bayfront, and visit the sea lions who live there!
