What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at 3:30p so that you can get a drink and spend a few minutes chatting with friends before finding a seat for the event!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Sooner is always better, but please RSVP by May 30th so that we can get numbers to our caterer.

What should I wear?

Answer

This is going to be a relaxed summertime affair, and you can dress accordingly. Think of it as a classy picnic! For example, a summer dress, a blouse, or short sleeved button up shirt. June can get hot sometimes, so shorts are absolutely okay! There's a lot of grass and gravel at the venue, so we recommend against stilettos!

While we love your furry friends, we request that you don't bring them to the wedding.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms available at a discounted rate at the Staybridge Suites Orenco Station for the night of the wedding. For your convenience, this is also where the shuttle will run from. If staying at the hotel, we recommend requesting early check-in to allow for enough time to settle in before the shuttle leaves at 3p. The rooms are available at the discounted rate until 6/9/23. After this date, rooms are based on hotel availability and normal rates.

What is the parking/transportation situation?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue, and we'll also have a shuttle running from the Staybridge Suites Orenco Station in Hillsboro. Please let us know in your RSVP if you're planning to take the shuttle. There is also a block of rooms available at this hotel. Please consider taking advantage of the shuttle if you expect to be drinking at our wedding, your safety is very important to us! Once back in Hillsboro, you'll find it easy to catch a Lyft or Uber back to your home or accommodations.

Is there cell phone coverage?

Answer

We're off in the woods a bit, so unfortunately cell coverage is very sparse. Horning's Hideout does offer paid wifi if you have a need for it. Or you can just enjoy a few hours to disconnect from the world and spend time with friends, new and old!
