FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is garden formal. We ask that guests wear either pants or midi-length/long dresses. Some things to note: -Both our ceremony and reception spaces will have slightly uneven ground, so flats or block heels are recommended. -Generally, temperatures in August feature highs of around 75-80 degrees fahrenheit. As the majority of our wedding will be outdoors, we recommend breathable fabrics. -While we are hoping for clear skies all weekend, be sure to pack a rain jacket in your luggage just in case! It is Seattle, after all.

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

Street parking is available around Parson's Gardens for our ceremony. Please review the below message from The Corson Building regarding parking at our reception: "We have a small designated lot in front of our building located on Corson Ave S. You will need to drive over the curb to access the lot. Please do not block other cars. Additional parking can be found on Airport Way or in the Alley to the East of The Corson Building. Parking is limited in the area so please plan extra time for the possibility of having to find off-site parking." Shuttles will be available to transport all guests from ceremony to reception. It is heavily encouraged to take advantage of these shuttles!

Question

How early can I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be ready for your arrival at 3:00 PM! We ask that all guests arrive before 3:20. There will be light refreshments and (limited) restroom facilities available, however we will be keeping our ceremony short and sweet so that everyone can enjoy cocktail hour at The Corson Building ASAP.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Light refreshments will be available at Parsons Gardens before the ceremony, however we recommend grabbing lunch first. Our cocktail hour and reception will feature an open bar for beverages. The Corson Building features cuisine specifically inspired and sourced in the Pacific Northwest region, and their menu is based on seasonal availability. As such, we will actually not be aware of the food and wine pairings being served until right before the big day! All food will be served family-style. Plated vegetarian meals are available upon request- please select the vegetarian meal option on your RSVP.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We ask that during our ceremony, photography be left to the professionals- please put all phones and cameras away.

Question

How Can I RSVP?

Answer

If you have received a Save the Date from us, you and your guests are able to RSVP through our wedding website. Formal invitations will be arriving in a few months, but there is no need to wait if you are sure of your plans!

Question

I have more questions...who can I ask?

Answer

Please direct any unanswered questions to the Bride or Groom. We're happy to help!
