If you're looking for a family friendly activity, we highly recommend taking a walk to Maggie Daily Park. You get to take in the best of everything downtown has to offer, while strolling towards one of the most beautiful parks in the area. There is rock climbing, playgrounds, mini golf and much more!
The Purple Pig is a great spot to grab delicious food and wine. Its located close to Michigan Avenue, the river and is incredibly difficult to get into without a reservation. If you're interested, please call in advance or go online to find their availability for your visit.

Call in advance for a reservation! This is one of the best burgers in the city, which means it's one of the best burgers in the world. Craving a late night burger? Try Small Cheval. It's a bit north of here, but they do burgers to go and have a patio to boot! These burgers are killer. Please get a fried egg and their bacon on top. Please get their truffle fries. This is an actual hidden gem. You have to go into a dark alley by some lovely dumpsters to get in line for this under ground bar. These cocktails are incredible and the Tiki theme is super fun for something out of the ordinary in this windy city.
Steak House of all Steak Houses. This one will 100% require a reservation well in advance. Plan accordingly.
If you're feeling feisty, please feel free to order a shot of tequila. They come in a shot glass made of ice. You will get an opportunity to throw you ice glass at a giant bell. Ring the gong, win a prize. The prize is a headache the next day. ; ) Congrats!
This is the best coffee in the city. Hands down, in Bridget's humble opinion, the best coffee ever. Come here to do a coffee tasting, try a mind blowing cortado, or grab a bag of bean to take home.

If you're in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview area and hankering for some incredible French food & or really love curry, please please please try their Poulet au Curry. Really, any of their savory or sweet crepes will have you head over heals.
If you're looking for a late night bar in the Lincoln Park area with live music, this is the spot. Please feel free to challenge the local performer, Dylan, to a drinking contest if you wish to publicly loose and buy the gentleman a beer.
If you're dying for the most delicious giant german pretzel of your life, please visit Prost, located in Lincoln Park near Bridget's old stomping grounds. Grab a boot of Hacker Pschorr Weisse beer and enjoy the best hits of 70's and 80's rock music.

If you’re looking for a cozy place to grab a drink and a small bite that gives a distinguished feeling of being at an old world club, go to the second floor for the Drawing Room. The Game Room is also located on the second floor where you can find shuffleboard, foosball, bocce, billiards, checkers, chess, and more. The Cherry Circle Room is a top notch restaurant that won a James Beard award for Outstanding Restaurant Design. Grab a bite and kick back. You can find Top Golf on the first floor of this building if you’re looking for a relaxing indoor activity.
