Please RSVP by June 7th.
The celebration will be in Bridget's family's backyard. There will be a tent to protect us from sun and rain, and incense sticks to protect us from mosquitos. We'll have a buffet with delicious homemade Italian and Taiwanese food, and dancing after dinner.
Please dress casually yet festively, and keep in mind that we will be outdoors and it will probably be hot and humid. Think sundresses, khakis, linen, short-sleeved button downs, or whatever you are comfortable in! Much of the backyard is grass and dirt, so when choosing your footwear we recommend staying away from stilettos.
We'll be in a residential area that’s not too crowded, so we expect you will be able to find street parking relatively nearby, but you may have to walk a few blocks. We encourage you to carpool if you can! It's also accessible by public transportation. You could take the J train to 111th Street (and then walk about 8 minutes) or the E, F trains to Kew Gardens/Union Turnpike (and then hop on the Q10 or Q37 bus, or walk about 20 minutes) or the Long Island Rail Road to Kew Gardens Station (and walk about 15 minutes).
You are all familiar with NYC and the beautiful borough of Queens! If it's your first time visiting Richmond Hill, we recommend stopping by Forest Park, a huge park with nature trails that's a 5-minute walk from the Bartolini home. We took the photo at the top of this page in Forest Park!
We’re only in it for the gifts! Just kidding. There's no greater gift than having you celebrate with us on our special day. We do not have a registry, but if you would like to give a gift, we would most appreciate a contribution to our newlywed fund. You could contribute via an online method (feel free to ask us for Zelle/Venmo info) or in person on our wedding day.
