It all started thanks to a very determined matchmaker — Sheila Freese (aka Bridges’ amazing cousin). After months of trying to get these two together, Sheila finally succeeded! The big moment happened at the Palace Saloon, where Sheila and her husband, Jeff, were DJing. Under the twinkle of the dance lights and the sweet sound of Ace of Base, something magical happened. Bridges and Ashley hit the dance floor, moving like two slightly awkward (but totally adorable) penguins. Between sips of Coca-Cola and shared laughter, awkward met awkward — and it just worked. Before the night was over, Bridges asked for Ashley’s number, and from there, everything just clicked. They spent the next few weeks hanging out with friends, getting to know each other, and realizing that this connection was something special. Their first official date on June 9th, 2023, sealed the deal — and the rest is history! Now, Bridges and Ashley spend their days listening to and making music, spoiling their beloved pup, Ollie, and cherishing time with family and friends. They can’t wait to celebrate their love story with all of you this November!
