There is so much to do in Denver! Take a train to Union Station and walk to Coors Field where even if the Rockies are not playing, there is still so much to see at McGregor Square and Larimer Square. Visit one of many craft breweries in RiNo (such as Odell's or Ratio) and explore LoDo to catch a glimpse of where my sister and I lived when we first moved to Colorado in 2020.
Visit our home away from home where we spend most of our weekends in the winter. Although September is too early to ski, there is still so much to do in Winter Park during the Fall. You can hike, walk through the village, catch a gondola ride to the top of the mountain, and so much more. This famous ski town is just 20 minutes outside of Granby and a perfect place to spend your free time before or after the wedding!
At the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, just 30 minutes down the road from Granby Ranch, you will find the town of Grand Lake. You can hike or take a walk on the board walk in town where you will find cute shops, good food, and plenty of ice cream. Depending on the weather, you can grab a paddle board and spend an hour or two on the gorgeous waters of Grand Lake. This is another great option if you have a spare half-day before or after the wedding.
For guests with a couple extra days to spend in Colorado, Rocky Mountain National Park is a great option. You can enter the park at Grand Lake which is just 30 minutes away from the venue and drive all the way through to Estes Park. This National Park does require reservations so make preparations in advance if this is on your bucket list!
