We met in the most amazing college town in the world, Athens, GA! There was an instant attraction when we first met and within weeks we became inseparable. We loved eating out at DePalma's, brunching at Mama's Boy, hanging out at Terrapin Brewery, and of course, grabbing drinks at the many bars downtown. We will always hold Athens, GA close in our hearts as the beginning of our love story.

Two weeks after celebrating our seven year anniversary, Christian proposed in Central Park in New York City. To Hailey's surprise, Christian's brother Patrick Riess, sister KC Riess, and niece Gifford Riess appeared shortly after the proposal. Then, more friends arrived including Arian Soroush, Lawton Salley, Sophie Mahle, and Harry Browne. Patrick's close friend Jake Standley took photos of the proposal. It was an incredibly beautiful and romantic gesture to have some of our closest family and friends present for our special day. Then, Christian took Hailey to the Kimberly Hotel rooftop bar for celebratory drinks and PJ Clarke's on the Hudson for dinner. It was truly the most romantic day and night of our lives. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at the wedding!
