Mason and Brianne met in Spring of 2018 after finding out that they would be candidate brothers in Kappa Kappa Psi. After being unsure of her feelings of Brianne, Mason decided she actually did like her. Their bond continued to grow throughout their experiences as candidates, and it has been strong ever since. Once Joseph came in the picture, Mason had no choice but to accept him into her life. Luckily, they actually had a lot in common. Joseph and Brianne decided they did not want to fight over who was going to have Mason in their bridal party, so they decided they would just have to have her officiate their marriage. It started as a joke back in 2019 that Mason would one day officiate Brianne and Joseph's marriage, so it only makes sense that they followed through on that promise.
Bridget Harper-LaBrec

Bridget and Brianne met when Brianne was 0 years old and Bridget was 4. Many people may believe that Bridget wanted to send Brianne back the moment she came screaming into the world, but the video that their grandfather took of their meeting for the first time says otherwise. After about 14 years of bickering and sharing a room together, Bridget moved 6 hours away to attend Florida State University. Distance only made the heart grow fonder, because that's when Bridget and Brianne truly became best friends. Brianne constantly followed in Bridget's footsteps, from attending the same middle/high schools, to organizations, to college, and to careers. She has always been a guide for Brianne's path in life. Brianne couldn't have asked for a better sister and role model, and is happy to have her standing by her side as her Matron of Honor.
Lee Commander

Joe and Lee became friends during Joe's first job as a band director at Wakulla High School where they worked in the same district together. Their friendship really took off when, in the summer of 2023, Joe introduced Lee to the sport of Pickleball. From there, their friendship continued to build stronger as they played pickleball together consistently. They even partnered up to compete in tournaments and have medaled in many of the tournaments together. Joe considers Lee to be his best friend and greatest mentor in life and in the music education profession. Joe always looks to Lee when in need of guidance and is grateful to have him as his Best Man.
Avie Montoya

Avie and Brianne met in the summer of 2014, when Brianne was a sophomore in high school and Avie was a freshman. They met in band, where they both played flute. They immediately hit it off and became best friends! Even though Avie moved on from band in later years, Brianne and Avie maintained their friendship through having the best summer job a kid could ask for at a place called SunSplash Family Water Park. Avie and Brianne became inseparable, so much that Avie became apart of the family and went on Brianne's family vacations. Avie and Brianne went separate ways after both graduating from Florida State University, but they still make sure to make regular visits to see each other throughout the year. Avie is the most supportive and loyal friend that Brianne could have asked for and is happy to have by her side on her wedding day.
Brian LaBrec

Brian and Joe met at Brian's engagement to Bridget Harper. It was so great of Brian to instantly feel that friendship connection to invite him to his surprise engagement (JK. Ty Brianne for inviting me out to meet the fam - bold choice, though). From there started the journey of the four sisters. Brian and Joe shared a love of sports, beer, and sailing the seas together, whether it was sailing the hooch in white-water rafting conditions or spending many hours on Sea of Thieves talking to each other without a headset. Through our love of sailing the seas, we also found a love of our beloved Abeulo 12 (God bless her). Joe is happy to have a sister like Brian in his life and as a Groomsman.
Belton Morgan

Belton and Brianne met in the summer of 2017 at FSU college orientation. They were standing outside of one of their soon-to-be classrooms, when Belton asked Brianne what her major was. From there, they became the best of friends. They had so much in common and got along so well, they were often accused of being in a relationship. Joe was shocked! Belton and Brianne continued to share many laughs and memories throughout their college careers through organizations like Marching Chiefs, Kappa Kappa Psi, and being in the same major. Fast forward a few years, and Belton and Brianne are not only besties, but coworkers in Atlanta, GA. Incredibly briefly. Belton realized his passions lie elsewhere, and chose a field that suits him. Moving away from Belton was incredibly difficult, but had no impact on their continued friendship to this day. Brianne is grateful to have Belton in her life and by her side.
Thomas Larger

Thomas and Joe immediately became best friends through their band fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi as Joe was selected to be Thomas's big brother. Through this process, Joe guided him through his candidacy to become an official member of the fraternity. Throughout college, Joe and Thomas became inseparable as they were always hanging out, usually aggressively competing against each other in NBA 2k and Super Smash Bros, partnering up in beer pong, hiking in a canyon, getting vaccinated, and much more. Joe even got Thomas a job at his college work: Hobbit (even if it only lasted one shift before quitting. Worth a shot). Eventually, both Joe and Thomas went off to get jobs in the same profession. Their friendship never wavered. They continue to keep in touch and hang out when they can, with their newest venture being to get together and play pickleball. Joe is thankful to have such a great friend like Thomas.
Callie Singleton

Callie and Brianne met way back in 2003 through an organization called 4H. Even though Brianne and Callie's friendship has stood the test of going to different schools and distance, this 20+ year friendship stayed continuous through the many trips to get pigs and rabbits, walking around the fairgrounds, trips to Moe's specifically in Gulf Coast Town Center, and quick visits home from college. Callie has been an unwavering friend to Brianne throughout the years, and their friendship will only continue to grow. Brianne is lucky to have a friend that has seen her in all stages of life, and feels it is only appropriate to have Callie by her side as she enters this new chapter.
Landon Chance

Landon and Joe met back in 2018 as they became roommates in their first college apartment together: The Boulevard. Through living together, Landon and Joe became best friends. They were always staying up late, having beer pong tournaments that turned into dodgeball with the ping pong balls, drunken Rocket League battles, and endless conversations. Even with Landon graduating before Joe and going into the real world first, they still continued to talk and hang out as much as they could. Their friendship bond is unbreakable and knows no distance, even with Landon living states away. Every time they talk and hang out, it is like they are still living back at the Boulevard together. Joe is happy to have a friend and Groomsmen like Landon.
Gabriella Marquez

Gabby and Brianne met in Spring of 2018 when they found out they would be candidate brothers for Kappa Kappa Psi. Brianne quickly determined that Gabby and Brianne were very different people. Being in the same family is what brought them together! They have many memories from being in mutual organizations, including KKPsi and Marching Chiefs, but what really sealed the deal on their friendship was their decision to be roommates when Brianne was in a desperate pinch. The rest was history! Gabby and Brianne learned they had much more in common than they originally thought and they went on to be in the same friend group. Gabby remains an important friend to Brianne and she has had an integral role in Brianne's development as a person. Brianne is grateful to have such a strong and thoughtful friend by her side!
Nick MacFarland

Nick and Joe met back in Fall of 2018 through the Roamin' Bones section of Marching Chiefs. Through this fall season, Chili's Gang was formed. Through endless conversations and hangouts, Nick and Joe became best friends. The friendship took them to become roommates their senior year of college at the Boulevard (#812). This led to many late-night hangouts, dart-throwing competitions (RIP the apartment wall def because of Nick), late-night gaming, icings, rips of the golf ball out in the parking lot, indoor baseball, and constant invasions of one's room to check up on each other. Many memories were made in the 812 senior year. Even after college, they would hang out when they could (even being states away) and talk as much as they could. Joe is forever grateful to have such a great friend like Nick.
Molly Whitright

Brianne and Molly met in the Fall of 2017 when Molly insisted she knew Brianne. Brianne was lost. No clue who Molly was. Turns out, Molly thought Brianne was in fact her sister, Bridget. Easy mix up - happens all the time. Needless to say, Molly and Brianne didn't talk much again until Spring of 2018 when they were in the same candidate class - for different organizations but there was a lot of crossover. Their friendship really bloomed when Mason invited Molly to join their first ever friends trip to Panama City Beach in May of 2019! Molly fit right in and has been an integral member of the group ever since. Molly is Brianne's pirate in crime (iykyk) and Brianne is happy to have Molly's bright and bubbly personality to shine more light on Brianne's special day.
Wilfredo Vega

Joe and Wil met back in the Spring of 2018 when Joe became a candidate for Kappa Kappa Psi, the national honorary band fraternity. They got to become really close friends as Wil became his big brother. From there, the friendship took off with the many Dunkin' runs, Burrito Border stops, and hangouts. Even after college. they remained close, going on annual trips with friends, creating memories to last a lifetime. Even with Wil being in Granada, they kept a close connection. Joe is happy to have Wil by his side at the altar.
