When are you and the Wedding Party flying into Florence, Italy?

Answer

We are flying into Florence Italy on May 13th 2026, we will be sightseeing there until we depart for the Wedding Venue on May 18th at 12pm.

Question

Will there be transportation to the Wedding from Florence?

Answer

Yes, transportation from Florence will be provided on May 18th to Petrolo. Please RSVP to this event in the schedule if you are going to be joining us. Petrolo is only 1 hr from Florence. Transportation costs are being estimated and you will be notified via email once we have the transport arrangements finalized. Please make sure you RSVP to the 'Leave for Wedding Venue' event so we know how many people will need transport.

Will there be transportation back to Florence from Petrolo?

Answer

No, the Wedding Party will be traveling to Venice. If you choose to come to Venice with us, please RSVP to the Schedule for 'Leave for Venice' and let us know so we can arrange the transport for everyone. If you need help arranging travel from Petrolo back to Florence, we are happy to provide resources from our travel agent.

What should I wear for the Wedding?

Answer

This event is formal - dress to impress! Guests are expected to wear formal attire, and we encourage creative black tie. Suggested colors are light peach, sage green, lavender, soft yellow, sky blue, petal pink, champagne, taupe.

Where will we stay ?

Answer

Petrolo has multiple Villas on the property that can accommodate all of the guests attending the wedding. Pricing is very reasonable since the wedding is during the week, it is much more affordable than a hotel. Below are your options for accommodations at the venue. You are also welcome to stay at a nearby B&B or Villa, please let us know what you decide. If you decide to stay on property we will coordinate a few private chefs for daily brunch. Boggina Villa - PRIVATE HOUSE FOR 9 GUESTS, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms of which 2 are ensuite. Private surrounding garden with pool and walking distance from local Town. Bòggina is placed on the eastern flanks of the Chianti Hills, among the estate vineyards and olive groves. 3. Costa Villa - HOUSE FOR 8 GUESTS, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms ensuite. Private garden and pool, wi-fi, barbecue. Costa is the best farmhouse on the Petrolo winery to enjoy the amazing panorama of vineyards and olive groves of the estate. (This will be the best villa for family and babies.) 4. Farmhouse Vigna -PRIVATE HOUSE FOR 10 guests, welcoming you with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (of which 3 are ensuite). This holiday house is surrounded by the Petrolo olive groves and vineyards with a wide view of the rolling hills around us, a nice private garden and a gorgeous swimming pool. What will the weather be like?

Answer

May in Tuscany Italy is typically between 70-77 degrees with night time temperatures hovering around 50-55 degrees, so it is advised to bring a warm jacket or scarf for the evening. The wedding & reception will take place outside unless it rains so please dress accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We just ask that during the ceremony if the baby or child is unable to stay content, to please watch from a distance.
