Covid Regulations?

Answer

Currently there are no NYS Covid Restrictions in place for the wedding. You will NOT need to show proof of vaccine or a negative test result to come! While this announcement takes a lot of stress off planning the logistics for the day we want to make sure all of our loved ones stay safe and healthy. New York has come so far in battling Covid-19 this past year and we could not be happier that we will finally be able to celebrate with ALL of our favorite people on August 6th! We will have masks available for those who wish to wear one. We also ask that anyone who is not feeling well or has been exposed to Covid-19 toast us from home. We love you all and your health and safety is our biggest priority.

What to do between the church and reception?

Answer

The Carltun is about 15 minutes away from St. William's. There will be about 2 hours between the events. This gives you time to check-in to the hotel, freshen up or stop at one of the many bars in Wantagh to get the party started! The Wantagh Inn is one of our favorites! The Carltun will begin hospitality a half hour before cocktail hour.

Will there be transportation from the hotel to The Carltun?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing shuttle service before and after the reception. There will be information in your hotel welcome bag and on our website closer to the wedding.

Afterparty??

Answer

YES! At The Carltun from 12:00-1:30. There will be more music, late night snacks, cigars and cocktails!

Question

I booked a room at the Marriott for the August 7, 2020 wedding. Now what?

Answer

If you have already booked your room for our August 7, 2020 date at the Long Island Marrittot.. 1. Thank you for being so prompt. 2. The Long Island Marriott is currently closed and plans to reopen this summer. I have been in contact with the manager and they said our guests are able to cancel their reservation on the website or by calling the Marriott with no penalty. Please call or email us (LeGrandeFinale2020ne@gmail.com) with any questions or problems. We will let everyone know of our new hotel arrangements once we have decided on them.

Bridal Shower?

Answer

The bridal shower was planned for April 26th and moved to July 25th. La and/or Eileen (The Mom's) will be in contact with all guests since the second date is being canceled due to COVID-19.
