SMASH PARK
Smashpark is a fun place for all ages! Pretty good food and a nice variety of drinks on tap. They have so many games for the whole family to enjoy together, or they have an adult only lounge upstairs. Ever tried playing Pickleball? It's quite comical. They yard outside will be open as well for the season with shuffleboard, giant connect four boards, giant jenga, corn hole and much more. It's a great hangout!
Center Grove Orchard
This is a little drive from the Des Moines area but it is one of our favorite places to go during the fall season! You can pick your own apples and pumpkins or you can purchase some in their market. There are designated areas for you to sit down and enjoy a picnic lunch to take with you or they have food to purchase there as well. A must try is their Apple Cider Slushies and hot Apple Cider Doughnuts you can watch being made. Before you leave, take some time to sample all the goodies in the market.
