Do I have to stay at the Aloft hotel?

Answer

Nope! We think it would be fun to have friends & family around the hotel for Friday-Sunday (and pool/hot tub can only be used by hotel guests!), but you totally don't have to stay there.

Is my pet welcome?

Answer

If you are staying at the hotel and wondering if you can have your pet with you- YES Aloft is pet friendly ($50 fee per night, max 2 pets) Caveat that they do say max weight 40lbs: https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/ancal-aloft-anchorage/overview/ That being said, please leave your pet in your room/car/home for events :)

Why are you getting married in a hotel instead of someplace cooler/more outdoorsy?

Answer

Because Brianna has cancer and isn't sure what she will be up for boo :(( But please take advantage of all that Alaska has to offer on either end! See the "Things To Do" page for suggestions around Anchorage.

Am I invited?

Answer

Digital invites have been sent! The ceremony and dinner are space-limited so we weren't able to invite everyone we would have otherwise. BUT we would love for anyone to come to the welcome party/wedding outings/reception! (Understanding this means mostly Anchorage friends :))
