Sophomore year of high school was a daunting time for Bree as the “new girl” and just another year at Marple Newtown for Pat. After the first football game of the year, Bree tagged along with new friends to go to a bonfire. Nervous to go, she didn’t know it would become a common spot the rest of high school. At one of Pat’s infamous bonfires, Bree jokingly said, “You’re taking me to Prom right?” Pat followed through and they went to Junior Prom together as friends. After high school, Bree went to Chestnut Hill College and Pat went to Penn State Brandywine. Pat often visited Bree at school and became good friends with her college friends. So close that he donned the nickname “CHC Pat” by everyone at school. Their high school and college friends were always questioning their “friends” title. They decided to give it a shot and went on the most awkward date on a 95 degree day (you can imagine the sweat). After not mentioning a word of that date again, they carried on as friends. As time went on they continued to find themselves gravitating towards each other. They continued this weird limbo until the 2020 lockdown (all it took was a global pandemic to make them come to their senses). A random phone call from Pat and they decided to make the jump. Sneaking out to go on walks together and long phone calls, they started dating quickly after. Fast forward to multiple hiking trips, buying a home together, bringing home their pup Guinness, it’s time to make their final title Husband and Wife.
