For those traveling from America:
Unfortunately, there are no flights from America that runs to Stansted Airport, so the next closest airport will be London Heathrow Airport. It is about 2 hours away from Bury St. Edmunds, but fret not, there are taxi ranks just outside the arrivals hall on the ground floor! All you need to do is follow the taxi signs after grabbing your luggage and exiting the terminal. Uber is also an option, however a taxi would give you a more “English” feel!
For those local:
For those residing in Ipswich, as you probably already know, Bury St. Edmunds is approximately a 40 minute drive. Please feel free to drive up and back down the same day as the wedding:)

Travel Note
Train from London
For those coming in from London for the day, a train journey to Bury can be 2-3 hours long. Also, please note that it is about a 20 minute walk or a 6 minute uber/taxi ride from the station to the register office. Please schedule your arrival to be early-ish rather than right on time, it would be greatly appreciated.
