We’re getting married!

Hiya, Bri here! Funny story, actually. Owen and I drove two hours to a pumpkin patch the day before Halloween, my favourite holiday, only to realise we’d gone to the wrong site. Instead of the cute, family-friendly patch with pumpkins and a ferris wheel, we ended up at the ‘fright night’ location full of scare actors and haunted mazes (an absolute NO for Owen!). After a long, muddy walk and being told we had to drive a mile down to the other lot, plus a snide comment from a stranger that put me in a mood, Owen was thinking, ‘Maybe tonight isn’t the night…’ But once we finally reached the right patch, my mood lifted. We took photos, saw some adorable dogs, and wandered the woodlands. The only thing left was the ferris wheel (Owen’s biggest fear). Feeling brave, he agreed to go on it! When we stopped at the top, while I was laughing at how scared he was, he pulled out a ring and proposed. It was perfect, intimate, and everything I could have wished for. We did get stuck going around five more times afterward lol, but honestly, it just made the moment even funnier!
