Where will the ceremony and reception be taking place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be held in The Lodge at Brady's Run Park in Beaver PA. 121 Bradys Run Road Beaver County, PA 15010

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors; there is a shaded field across from The Lodge that we will use as our ceremony space. The reception itself will be indoors; The Lodge is a nice big shelter with garage doors that can open on either end to keep the air moving through.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Casual. Feel free to wear whatever you would be most comfortable in for a summer wedding. We ask that you wear nice jeans or nice jean/khaki shorts, a nice shirt or a dress! We will be outside for the ceremony so heels are not recommended unless you'd like to wear a chunky heel or wedge.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive an hour to a half hour before our ceremony. The ceremony will be pretty short so we will be providing some seating, however most of the space will be standing. If you know you will definitely need a seat please arrive early enough to guarantee a space for yourself. Seating for parents and grandparents will be reserved to the front rows.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is a large field next to our venue that we will have available for parking. There are also a few paved parking spots that are handicap accessible.

Unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

YES! We will be having an unplugged ceremony and we ask you please keep all devices (ie. phones, iPads, cameras ) tucked away until the ceremony is over. We hired an amazing photographer and they will be sure to capture all the amazing moments!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list so we can stay on budget. Our wedding is RSVP only, and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but this will be a kid free wedding! We'd like for this celebration to be a relaxing night off for the parents!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony we will spend at least an hour taking family photos with our photographer. Guests can head up to the reception space to enjoy our cocktail hour.

What food will be served?

Answer

We will be serving Papa Wood BBQ at our wedding! This includes a buffet of pulled pork (with or without the bun), chicken, pasta, Mac and cheese, steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, and baked beans! There will also be our cake and cookie tables.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! But please make the request as soon as possible so we can make arrangements with our catering team.

What should I do for presents?

Answer

We are planning to have a Bridal Shower so you can bring presents to that if you'd like; but if you would rather mail presents to our home and need our address please contact us! There will also be a card box at the reception so please feel free to bring cards!

End of night cleanup?

Answer

Since we are managing the entire wedding ourselves we will need a ton of help cleaning up the space at the end of the night! If you are willing and able we would appreciate all the help we can get! Cleanup will include packing decorations, throwing away and taking out trash, folding up the tables and chairs and stacking them away. We'll sweep quickly, lock up and be on our way!
