We were both starting our freshman year of college at Edinboro, and on the second day the school was hosting a big party called the Boro Bash to help the new students meet people and make friends in their class. I went with a group of girlfriends and I remember seeing Nick with a big group of his friends; we all started talking and everyone got along pretty well. I remember going home that night wishing I had gotten his number. About a week later his roommate Jensen asked if a friend and I wanted to come hang out with him and his roommate Nick, and of course I said yes! From then on we just grew closer as friends, until that fall when he asked me to go to his families Thanksgiving dinner with him and we realized we were definitely dating. Everything happened so easily and it has been so amazing to have shared almost 9 years together!

Picture this: Soft fluffy snow gently falling through the night sky, bistro lights and romantic music playing from the restaurant nearby. Walking back to the car with our takeout sushi the night was just feeling magical. We get to the car and I hear him say "Hold on I can't find the keys." Turning around, I see him on one knee, holding a ring box asking me to marry him. It was so perfect, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
