Zona Romántica
Playa Los Arcos is located in the Romantic Zone. The Puerto Vallarta Romantic Zone is full of amazing food, great nightlife, and some of the most beautiful beaches on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. Once the sun goes down and all the boats are anchored at Los Muertos Pier, the Romantic Zone is still full of life.
Malecon Boardwalk Vallarta
Playa Los Arcos is walking distance from the Malecon Boardwalk! The Malecon Boardwalk spans over a mile of the Pacific Coast, from Old Vallarta to the millennium statue, with amazing views of Banderas Bay and true Mexican flavor along the way. The Malecon is one of Puerto Vallarta’s top attractions, the heart and soul of this tropical vacation destination. The boardwalk’s endless bars, restaurants, coffee shops and nightclubs are abuzz with locals and tourists. Stop into the little gift shops, the many restaurants and bars to have a drink or a bite to eat, or simply immerse yourself in the colorful tradition that surrounds you.
Lazaro Cardenas Park
A two minute walk from Playa Los Arcos is Puerto Vallarta's first ever mosaic tile park is a must see on any list of things to do in Puerto Vallarta. This park is decorated in brilliant mosaics by a local artist.
Los Muertos Beach
Playa Los Arcos is located on Los Muertos Beach. Los Muertos Beach is the most popular, the best known, and the most visited beach in Puerto Vallarta. Los Muertos Beach is one of the cleanest beaches in the State of Jalisco.
Muelle de Playa Los Muertos
Located right outside the Playa Los Arcos Hotel, The pier (also known as a lookout/”mirador”) is a wonderful addition to Puerto Vallarta’s beachfront area. It was designed by the Mexican Biannual Architecture prize-winning architect, José de Jesús Torres Vega. This rebuilt modern pier was reopened in 2013 and has become an iconic tourist attraction on the Pacific ocean. It is a great place to walk around and take photos from different spots of the structure.
Centro Historico
Explore the cobblestone streets along the Malecon add colonial charm, this area also features street vendors and craftsmen. Pass by the beautiful cathedral featuring its trademark crown of angels. This is a must see area walking distance from Playa Los Arcos.
