Located right outside the Playa Los Arcos Hotel, The pier (also known as a lookout/”mirador”) is a wonderful addition to Puerto Vallarta’s beachfront area. It was designed by the Mexican Biannual Architecture prize-winning architect, José de Jesús Torres Vega. This rebuilt modern pier was reopened in 2013 and has become an iconic tourist attraction on the Pacific ocean. It is a great place to walk around and take photos from different spots of the structure.
