No, although it is recommended. There are several hotels and AIRBNBs in the romantic zone. Ivan and Brianna will be staying at Playa Los Arcos.

Will I need transportation?

Answer

Transportation will be needed from the airport to the hotel. Taxis and Uber are available. If you are staying at one of the hotels offered, you will not need to worry about transportation once you have arrived to the hotel, everything is walking distance.
