I met Bri in college at RSU. We’ve basically been best friends since then. We’ve shared many memories together through out the years from late night runs for food to early morning practices. If we’re on the phone you can bet we’re talking for hours about everything and nothing. The visits might get harder sometimes as life gets busy but the friendship never will change. I’m lucky to have such an amazing best friend!

I’m Mariel Sparks — originally Escobedo — and I met Bri years and years ago. Shy, timid Bri with the thick hairline quickly became my very best friend. We grew up just three houses apart on Joyce Road, and our summer days began at her house or mine — and always ended the same way. We were inseparable. She was my secret keeper, my karaoke partner, my shopping buddy — my person through every season of girlhood. Like many friendships, life led us down different paths when she went off to college, and for a few years we lost touch. But two years ago, God so beautifully brought us back together — and it felt as though not a single day had passed. We picked up right where we left off, only stronger, wiser, and more grateful. She came back into my life not just as my best friend, but as family — becoming another aunt to my littles and stepping so naturally back into my heart. Bri, I am beyond grateful to stand beside you and witness this next beautiful chapter of your life. You deserve a love that is steady, joyful, and full of laughter — just like the friendship you’ve always given me.

Hi! I’m Mia. Bri and I first met back in high school when we ran cross country and track together. Bri was super shy, so I’d talk to her here and there at practice. Little did I know she’d end up becoming one of my favorite people on the planet. We really became close in college at Rogers State University, where we ran XC and track again and basically became inseparable. If there was something to do, a place to go, or a memory to make, Bri and I were probably doing it together. I’ve always thought of Bri as my little angel. I genuinely prayed for a good friend like her, and I truly believe the Lord sent her my way. We’ve shared our biggest laughs and a few cries, and through it all she’s been the most down-to-earth, go-with-the-flow, fiercely loyal person I know. And as Nacho Libre would say, “She’s the beeeest!” I’m so lucky to call her my friend, and I couldn’t be happier to celebrate her and this new chapter!

I have been blessed to have had Brianna as my friend for over half of my life! Growing up, we spent countless early mornings together running laps around the track. Hundreds of hours were spent on bus rides, at track/xc meets, and practices talking about our goals, dreams, and all the things we wished to accomplish. I have always respected and admired her work ethic, genuineness, and wisdom. My friendship with Brianna was one of the best parts of my childhood, and I cherish all the memories we share together. She stood by my side at my own wedding, and has always been there when I have needed her. I am SO excited that Brianna has found her other half. One of my favorite memories with you was when we went to Oklahoma and spent the weekend with your friends. I think I was like 15, so I was still pretty young, but I remember having so much fun with you the whole trip. We went to the lake, were with everybody all weekend, and it was just one of those trips that I’ll always remember.The funniest part was when the car almost broke down on those back roads and we were literally stuck in the middle of nowhere. You were so scared and crying, and I was just sitting there trying to calm you down and telling you everything was gonna be okay. Looking back now, it’s actually one of the funniest memories to me because even though it was stressful in the moment, we still made the best out of it and had such a good time.

One of my favorite memories with you is when I was little and you would come back home from college. I would get so excited every time, like I couldn’t wait, and then when you got home I wouldn’t stop talking or asking you questions. I probably annoyed you, but I didn’t even care because I just missed you that much. Looking back now, it’s actually kind of funny, but it also shows how much you’ve always meant to me.Another thing I always think about is all the random videos you took of me. There’s one where I was talking about a piece of paper disappearing like the world was glitching or something, and it’s so funny to watch now because I really believed it. You also have videos of me hula hooping, dancing, dabbing, and me not wanting to leave your room because I wanted to sleep there since you were my favorite sister. I still have the ukulele you got me hanging on my wall, and it reminds me of you. I also remember when I’d be your “servant” with my other sisters, bringing food or drinks or doing little things. And I remember meeting Chris for the first time after only seeing blurry pictures of him. When I saw him, I was like, “Oh my gosh, that’s you!” He turned out to be really funny and kind, and I really appreciate how he’s always been nice to me and made time to talk. I’m really happy for you both.

Cris, one of my favorite memories growing up was us hitting Mulligans together. Racing go karts like we were on a real track, talking shit during laser tag, and just spending the whole day laughing and hanging out. Looking back now, it wasn’t even really about the games — it was about having my cousin there through all those years. Those memories are the kind that stick with you for life. My favorite memory with you is taking every class together for my freshamn year of college, and on finals week since we never paid attention for our 8am class we ended up going to the wrong class time for the final. We slowly realized it wasn't the usual classmates and the professor called us out and said "oh thats right you guys werent paying attention so you didnt know your final is online" in front of everyone and we had to awkwardly walk out as the entire room stared at us.

My favorite memory with you has to be when me & Omar stayed over for a week at your house and went riding at 4 AM. I remember that day vividly because we stayed up all night just to ride at 4 AM but Omar didn’t make it, he fell asleep😂 I just remember we looked at each other and said f*** it, and we left to ride the hills. We then came back to Omar being mad that we didn’t wake him up to go. Good times.
