Matron of Honor
Hi I am Jenny! I met Brianna summer of 2015 when we were paired to be roommates - since then we have become inseparable. We have a matching tattoo so she is stuck with me forever. I’m so lucky to have her in my life, and SO excited to be a part of their special day. I approved of Abdi the first time I met him a few months into their relationship - seeing how happy he makes Brianna and how sweet he is to her, I couldn’t be happier they found each other.
Best Man
Calling Abdi the younger brother I never had would honestly be an understatement. He manages to hit all the beats from painfully annoying to loyal to a fault. I can recall our meaningless bickering and wheezing laughing sessions knowing he will have those same moments with the love of his life for the rest of his life. Bri is the perfect balance for him as he is for her and I can’t wait to act a fool to honor the both of them.

Brianna and I both were in need of a new place to live. We were introduced by the Matron of Honor, Jenny. Moving in with someone who I've met only a few times seemed crazy, but she was Jenny's best friend so what could go wrong? It ended up being one of my best decisions. I got to see Brianna laugh and grow. I remember her coming home beaming about her first date with Abdi. Little did I know that I would be watching her get married to that same wonderful guy that makes her smile.

I met Abdi by working with him at Walgreens and we worked together for several years. Back when life wasn't so busy it was many hours of us playing Smite. It's never boring when he is around, often getting into interesting situations. Being friends with Abdi is truly a great privilege. This is an honor to be a part of this big moment in his life.

I met the lovely couple through my husband, Dallas. First met Abdi when he was a bachelor, and then the best day of our lives, when he brought Bri around for all of us to meet. She couldn’t be a better fit in our friend group. I have been lucky enough to watch their relationship grow from the beginning, and I am so honored to be a part of the big day.

I met Abdi online through Xbox and after several years on a whim Abdi mentioned flying out to visit as a surprise to everyone. A few weeks later, I was with everyone in person. Then just a year later I made the move from WA to MN, best decision I’ve ever made. All thanks to Abdi and his generosity.

I’m Alice! I met Brianna through her Matron of Honor, Jenny. In fact, we met on the weekend trip that Jenny got engaged; what seems like forever ago! Guess that makes us basically dinosaurs. However, over the years, I have gotten to know her and realize how amazing of a person and friend she is. She is kind and supportive and she seems to have met that in Abdi. So excited to celebrate with them!

Abdi and I have been friends for a long time. We started as coworkers and are now family. He is the little brother I always wanted. Now it's amazing to see him become the man he is now. Even more so after he started dating Bri. He has become a better person. I can't wait to see where life takes them in the future.

I know Bri because I know Abdi. I know Abdi because of my husband, Kyle. Kyle hired Abdi at Walgreens, and with his caring and infectious personality, Abdi has become "Cousin Abdi" within Kyle's family. Abdi brought Bri to one our house get togethers and I believe I had to say to her "we normally don't drink like this", which then proved to be a lie. We do drink like that when we get the chance! So happy for Abdi and Bri, and their love just brings me so much joy...they are so perfect for each other!

I've gotten to know Abdi over the years, from playing games online to meeting up in person. Abdi has been a relentless supporter and to see someone compliment him as well as Bri does is incredible.

My name is Cassidy and I met Brianna 7 years ago when we both worked at Target in Fargo, ND. We became fast friends with our shared goofy humor and love for arts and crafts. We spent many late nights at diners after we closed for the night, talking about life (and of course, spilling the tea). We’ve been through so much together, and I’m so happy to see her find the perfect person to spend her life with. I’m so excited for Brianna and Abdi and all of the beautiful memories they will make.

I have known Abdi for almost 10 years now and he is genuinely one of the best people I know! He's more family than my own and I couldn't ask for a better friend. He's endlessly funny and wildly charismatic. He barged into my life and set up shop and now I have the privilege of being a small part of Abdi and Bri's special day. I couldn't be more proud of the man he has become.

I've known Abdi through our mutual friends for around 10 years. He's always the life of each gathering, with his humor and wit. He always shows love and his help has always come through at many cookouts.

I first met Abdi at Shane's old house with my brother Alex. We were having some drinks and in walks this stranger. He came over and said "what's up? I'm Abdi! What you drinkin?" I told him and he sat down and said "ooo I wanna try it!" He picked up my drink and drank straight from the straw. I thought for sure we were going to fight that night. Instead, I made a life long friend who makes the occasional rash decisions that we love him for! It has been an honor and a privilege to grow with him and see his relationship with Bri flourish. He is a man you know you can count on when the cards are down, and I know he will make a great husband and future father; if that's where the cards land.
Officiant
Abdi and I have known each other for years, and what started as a work connection quickly turned into a genuine friendship. He’s the kind of person who shows up no matter what, whether it’s traveling to Mexico for my wedding in the middle of a pandemic or running an errand just because I asked. Over time, he’s become more like family, which is why we call him “Cousin Abdi.” He’s the first to make you laugh, the first to defend you, and the easiest person to roast because of the wild things he says. But underneath it all, he’s one of the most loyal, big-hearted people I know. It’s a real honor to be his officiant.
