Audubon Park

The National WWII Museum

Extensive, could easily fill a whole day. Fun fact: Brian worked here when it was the D-Day Museum, for Stephen Ambrose.

Mardi Gras World

Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, Barataria Preserve

Nice hikes in the bayou, with a chance of seeing alligators and other wildlife. Need a car to get there.
