Our Story

After months of whatsapp messages and facetime, Brian travelled to London during COVID to meet Yen as she finished her final exams. What was suppose to be a 2-week trip ended up being 5-weeks!

Brian’s family, Yen’s mum and Nie were supportive from the get go. Now, to tell Yen’s brothers and Dad so that Brian could come visit! Xiong’s reaction was “What! Brian Yeh?! But he’s in America!”

After 2 weeks of quarantine, Brian dove head first into life in Malaysia. Lasik, Pilates and lots of food, were only the tip of the iceburg. Brian also got to "cuti cuti Malaysia" before heading home.

Post quarantine #2 was filled doggy cuddles, evening walks, birthdays and photoshoot, life at Taman Desa was as bursting with activity as ever! Especially with the arrival of Nala!

Recovering from sunburns, celebrations were prepared for Brian’s first birthday in Malaysia and Ron & Sally’s arrival! Another highlight was Rong and Vin Teng's Shanghai Night Wedding!

Brian’s third and final quarantine! This time, he came through Langkawi and had a much better time. A short trip before London for Yen's graduation and then enroute to 2 months in America!

Moving back to London! Being so well connected in London, with reasonably priced tickets and short distances, Yen and Brian took every opportunity to make the most of their time in Europe.

You might ask how much time did you guys actually spend in London? And the answer is, not much. Despite that, we truly loved our time in London and it will always be our first home together!

A summer in Europe! Cinque Terre, London, Barcelona, Paris and the Norwegian Fjords, Yen and Brian felt incredibly blessed to travel with friends and family. The end, an amazing Joe Hisaishi concert!

After a succesful surprise trip to Osaka, Yen and Brian got their first auroras in Iceland after we welcomed Yue An! An amazing and thirlling experience before ending the year in Taipei with the Yehs

The last couple of months before the big trip! Email hacking, tactiful planning and secret meetings would all lead up to the most amazing and perfect engagement ♥ you did an amazing job Brian! ♥♥

15minutes before, Yen was still asleep! “Hurry hurry or your dad will be upset!” says Brian. Enroute, Yen suggests taking photos at the beautiful tree. Little did she know, Brian’s heart was pounding!
