Sfoglina
One of our go-to restaurants for date night. We have been going to the original location in Van Ness (4445 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20008), but this second location opened last year in downtown DC.
Dupont Underground
Formerly the subterranean streetcar station in Dupont Circle, Dupont Underground has been re-purposed into a multi-disclipinary art space. For example, we went to see Oscar Wilde's "Importance of Being Earnest" here last summer. Visit the website through the link below to see upcoming shows and exhibitions.
Martin's Tavern
This is a fun restaurant for history buffs. Right before Brian proposed to Sylvia along the Georgetown Canal, we ate dinner here and sat in the same booth where John F. Kennedy proposed to Jacqueline Bouvier back on June 24, 1953.
Crumbs & Whiskers
At DC's cat cafe, you can sip on a latte while hanging out with some adorable cats and kittens. These felines are rescued from high-kill shelters and available for adoption - the perfect souvenir! Advance bookings are highly recommended.
Baked & Wired
This is a great place to stop by for baked breakfast goods or desserts! And it is just steps away from our marriage proposal along the Georgetown Canal.
The Dupont Circle Hotel

Fun fact: we had one of our first dates at the hotel's restaurant, Cafe Dupont (now newly renovated as the Pembroke). Call (202) 483-6000 and reference "Lam Dooley Wedding Block." You are unable to secure these rates by booking online. Note: Rooms must be booked by August 20, 2019 to secure these rates.
Hotel Lombardy

Capital Hilton
$259 (king or double) *double room rate allows for 4-person occupancy The Capital Hilton is just over a half mile east of our wedding venue. Call 1 (800) 774-1500 and use code "LWED" or book directly through the "View" link below. Please note that our room block is at the "Capital Hilton" and not the "Washington Hilton," which is a different hotel. Note: You must book by August 5, 2019 in order to secure this rate. This is an earlier cut-off date than the other two hotels where we have room blocks.
Arts Club of Washington
This is the site of our wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday. You won't be able to visit before the wedding, but we wanted to add it to this map so you can see where it is in relation to the other sites.
