Question

How to RSVP?

Answer

You can select the RSVP tab above to submit your response. We kindly ask that you share your current plans below by letting us know if you are attending, not attending, or still undecided as soon as you know. If your plans change, you may update your response at any time!

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by selecting "Will Not Attend" on the RSVP form. Thank You!

Question

Is There a Dress Code?

Answer

We are kindly requesting formal attire for our wedding and love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us. Our ceremony will be in a catholic church so please consider the churches dress code.

Question

Can I bring a "plus one"?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. Guest names will be clearly stated on your envelop as well as on the RSVP tab of this website. We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your RSVP attend. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are Children Welcome?

Answer

RSVPs will be specific and will include the names of any children who are formally invited.

Question

Where are you recommending guests stay?

Answer

We recommend staying at Caesars New Orleans, where we have a room block for our guests. Discounted booking information can be found in the Travel tab under Hotels. The hotel is newly renovated, smoke-free, and features a separate hotel tower that does not require guests to walk through the casino. We also recommend staying in the French Quarter area, as it will be within walking distance to many of the wedding events.

Question

How do I book a room in the room block?

Answer

Guests can reserve a room using the booking link provided in the Travel tab or by calling the hotel directly and mentioning the Wolfe Wedding. Rooms in our block are reserved for Friday, December 4 through Sunday, December 6 (checkout at 11:00 AM). Please be sure to book by the November 4 cutoff date to receive the discounted rate.

Question

What should I know about the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place at St. Louis Cathedral and will be a traditional Catholic wedding Mass. The ceremony includes prayers, readings, music, and Holy Communion, and typically lasts about one hour. Please note that St. Louis Cathedral does not have public restrooms. We recommend planning accordingly before arriving at the ceremony.

Question

I’ve never been to a Catholic wedding before what should I expect?

Answer

We are honored to celebrate with guests of all backgrounds. Programs will be provided, and you’re welcome to participate as you feel comfortable. During Communion, those who are not receiving may simply remain seated.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is at the MISI located in Jax Brewery. After the ceremony, guests are invited to take the short 3 min walk along Jackson Square to Jax Brewery. The venue sits directly across Decatur Street, overlooking the Mississippi River.
