The National Museum of African American History is one of the Smithsonian museums in D.C. that opened its doors in 2016. With 10 stories and over 3,500 items on display, it's the world's largest museum dedicated to African American history and culture.

The National Harbor is a waterfront resort restaurants, shops, a convention center and casino, and even a Ferris wheel. There's often live music or events happening throughout the week.
